What are Status Stars?

A very special innovation awaits Miles & More members who have held their status for many years: the awarding of status stars. In future these stars will enhance the Miles & More service cards and bag tags belonging to Frequent Travellers, Senators and HON Circle Members.

How do you get Status Stars?

The number of stars is based on the number of days for which you have been or were a Miles & More status customer. For Frequent Travellers one day is the equivalent of one point, for Senators two points and for HON Circle Members one day equals three points.

How many Status Stars will you get?

Once you have reached 5,000 points, you will be awarded one star, from 10,000 points two stars, from 15,000 points three stars and so on. You can receive a maximum of 5 stars in total. Incidentally, the stars are also displayed in your personal online status lounge immediately after they have been awarded.

What else do you need to know?

If, as a status card holder, you qualify for an additional star during your status term, this will be shown on your Miles & More service card when it is next renewed. Even if Frequent Travellers, Senators or HON Circle Members change their status, the stars will remain visible on their Miles & More service card. The blue Miles & More service card has no stars. The stars do not expire; instead they will again be displayed once the status is renewed.
